ok this is what i have:

HP Laptop

Intel Centrino Duo

Nvidia GEFORCE GO 7600

Windows Vista

My laptop use to run everquest back in like January, but with in the last week or so ive been trying to log in and not able too. I do the patcher, Run as Admin for Vista. load all the patches, click play WITHOUT any Characters selected, and after about 5second or so of the loading window the game crashed. Would anyone know now this is? EverQuest2 ran perfectly fine on the other machine thats exactly the same as this except now the graphics cards is fried.

A fried graphics card would definitely cause this issue

How much RAM do you have on the computer and what is the clock speed for your CPU?

Its hard to run the game on a laptop as is. I believe that graphics card is actually integrated as well and shares its memory with the RAM.

Ohh my apologiesThis is the recommended driver version for the 7xxx series, make sure you have this one installed. You may need a program like Driver Cleaner to properly remove all of the other driver that is installed.Vista 32bit: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvis...69.25_whql.html Vista 64bit: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvis...69.25_whql.html Recommended driver: ForceWare 169.25
