My PvP Ranger just completed the Int line, thus acquiring Intoxication. How do you use it?The bubble says, "next melee attack" -- presumably this means ranged ca's won't trigger it? Please tell me they do! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But assuming ranged ca's don't trigger it, how do you use it in pvp?In pve it seems like casting Intox just before casting Lunge would be a good combo, is that right?

This was changed a couple of GU's ago. I apply it with Bloody reminder our DoT but that is in PvE

Personally, I don't worry about combos for things like Intoxication. Like Ranja said, it will proc off melee and ranged, so I just make sure I get it cast every chance I get, regardless of how it fits into my other spell casting. Typically, I'll cast it as a tank is running off to pull a mob (a good time to cast many prepatory spells), or I'll cast it as I'm moving in or out of melee range, since it can be cast on the move, thus putting that movement time to good use.

Why wait until the tank pulls? Apply it immediately and the re-use timer will begin immediately. I started doing this and have gotten intox in on a lot more fights.
Agree. I try to keep it up all the time. If you get a pull toward the end of your timer, you'll get two uses in one fight. I wish I could auto-consume it.

The ideal time to cast Intox would be one minute, 45 seconds before the tank pulls. Then you'd get one Proc in early in the fight, and one proc 15-20 seconds later. My tanks never seemed to have a macro for "Pulling in 1:45"...
