Quick Paladin vs. questions

<p>Starting a new toon soon and its between a Pally and a Monk. I solo 99% of the time. Any basic pros and cons of each would be appreciated.</p><p>Thanks in advance.</p>

I would choose a monk simply because of the feign death.

I have a 48 monk, and a 26 Paladin.If you outfit your characters well enough, any class should suffice. Feign Death on the monk is great, yet oddly seems to fail when you need it the most <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Paladin can heal/ward himself to prevent death.Monk generally has higher damage output, killing things quicker.Paladin still can do great DPS, and bonus DPS against undead (and there's plenty of them to go around!)So from my experience with each class so far, I'd say pick whatever class you find to suite you best.Do you want to be a quick, powerful, leather wearing martial artist? or a Holy, plate wearing paladin?

Although I forget which level you get FD, you do get it pretty early onit's eithrt pre 20 or around 20. Later on you get a group Feign Death and some group hastes. This is what gets you a raid spot over a bruiser.
