Hello, firstly my computer specs are:AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+2gb MemoryAti HD 3870 512mb Graphics Card500w Power SupplyWindows Xp Service pack 2Now for the problem. I was playing AoC a while ago and had max 20 fps with my graphics card like most of other who were using 38xx cards. So I wanted to play eq2 instead what I should have been able to play on extreme quality easily or at least so I thought. If i use high perfomance settings my fps is around 50 but if i even change it to high quality it drops by 10-20 fps, I got that sorted out mostly by unticking flora on display settings but I still had some problems. The game was mostly playable in commonlands and open areas but for example in Freeport I had small freezes (like 0.5-1sec) and quite low fps but it was still playable. Now when I rolled a Fae and went to Kelethin the first time my fps was under 20 and had those freezes all the time (causing me to fall down back to gfaydark). So I was wondering if my computer isnt enough to run eq2 on extreme quality settings or is there something wrong with my drivers, or if eq2 doesnt support my graphics card? Would be glad to get any kind of feedback what could help me stabilize my fps.Edit: Also my old computer which had amd 3200 geforce 6600gt and 2gb memory handled cities a lot better but overall fps in zones was lower

I would goto http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors...1_13118,00.html first, and download the following:

AMD Dual-Core OptimizerAMD Processor Driver Version 1.3.2.0053 for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 (x86 and x64)

See if that helps any.

We have not received any feedback from our compatibility lab and this card yet. I would guess it is still being tested.
