Shammie Crashes during raids

<p>I've been meaning to ask for ages - I can play eq2 all day on any toon with no problems but as soon as I'm raiding on my mystic the game will lock after about 2hrs if i am in a general dps/OT grp but about 1hr if i am MT healing.  One of our other 2 shammies has the same problem - we have a ritual shammie-relog after every 90 mins raiding now.... anyone else have this problem?  </p><p>I have the same problem on 2 different PCs - all have 2gb + memory but aren't very high-spec.</p>

My main source of grief seems to be right as a Group Ward finishes casting.  Every now and then, maybe once or twice a night, usually in a raid, when that spell finishes, I lock up.  If I happen to have Task Manager up on my second monitor, I can alt tab to it and end the Everquest2 process.  Otherwise, I have to reboot.It happens nearly every night I raid, and ALWAYS as Group Ward finishes.

<p>Is this a long time thing or only something that has been happening the past couple of weeks (about how long it's been since I've raided)? Certain zones only?</p><p>I ask because I've never had an issue other than the "oh god everyone clicked revive at the same time and now half of us will lock up/crash" thing and the rare random lock up.</p>

<p>Happens to me too. Only on the groupward ..when its about to land. I got it twice in VP the other day...and ones in RE Gathering.It used to happen only ones every 3 months...but now more often. The game totally Freeze...and I have to turn it off.I have no lag what so ever on other spells...not very high grafic settings either.Im usually only running ventrilo during raids...and that is still up so no internetcrash.Ive been trying to figure out what it is...its just as if when the game needs to calculate how much the ward will be when it lands.Ive tried to take some gear of that alters the amount on the wards/ heals...im only wearing the wrist now.Like:<span style="color: #cc6600;">Arm of Erollisi </span>- symbol<span style="color: #cc6600;">Bangle of </span><span style="color: #cc6600;">Polished Marble</span> - wrist</p><p>Maybe if they both proc at he same time it will bug the game....i dont know im just speculating.usually items like these proc more often on groupwards and groupheals.Ive also turned Maximum Particle Size down as much as I can.</p>

Hrmm...never had that problem at all.  Thanks for the heads up though.  Our other shammy doesn't ld either.

<p>There are a bunch of Shammys with this problem suprisingly.</p><p>We'll be on a raid when group wards are more then needed and the MT shaman will go LD once the ward is about to land.</p>

please ppl...post on that thread there...if you havnt already...so that the Dev's can see that this is a major problem.

still see zippo improvement - gets tiring having to remember to re-log every 90 minutes or less if in MT and healing loads <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />   Guild getting pretty [Removed for Content] to with 2 shammies always having to reboot or wipe.  I /bug it constantly - dev tracker has had no response for months - please keep posting though

<p>Glad to see I'm not the only one with this freezing problem. It's happened a few times to me and I noticed 2 nights ago it was when my group ward was casting. I really hope they fix this.</p>

Yes im using Profit...but it has worked fine uptil sometime this spring.....i never Freeze on my other healers = Warden.And now its standard every raid...and almost every time in groups....on my mystic that is.

I am using profit as well and have never locked up or crashed unless my internet went down first. Maybe delete the profit folder and re install it from the auto updater might help. Who knows, seems odd though that more than one mystic is reporting this.

nope - 3 different PCs, no custom UIs, fine on any toon except mystic main
