Before The Heist.A day old news article published by a reputable group operating from varying locations on Antonica, Faydwer and D'Lere catches the eye of passersby in Qeynos, Kelethin, Freeport and Neriak.Seemingly timeless; the weapons and tools of collector Ruza Arbre have been sold to the kingdom of Qeynos for a record-breaking price of 500 platinum pieces! In weeks these refined and never before seen treasures will be added to a refurbished hall at the Bayle museum in North Qeynos; for show to all visitors for a fee of 10s(prices may vary) admission. Guaranteed to be "Something none, not even I have seen before!" says Antonia Bayle herself. We will be there on opening day to further report for our dedicated readers. This will be something nobody will forget! The Heist. The light of Luclin pierced the looming clouds and cast some light on the now closed museum. If not for these lights a figure would remain unseen to the local wildlife and night owls up late in the neighborhood. This figure, smaller than the average man, gracefully dashed from buildings adjacent to the museum and glided in some twist of nature onto the roof of the museum. Silent as the grave this figure quickly disappeared as lingering clouds resumed their cover over Luclin.Biyan sheepishly covered an unconscious guard in their jacket. "No, don't get up. I 'ave this place covered." The kerra had come to investigate the almost inaudible sound of glass being incised. That poor sap had just so happened to break the fall of the thieving ratonga; Biyan. He walked up to a closed door and lightly rapped on it before pulling out a circular piece of thick glass from the skylight. Trick or treat! When the door opened he brought the glass down on the head of the receptionist.. a dwarf in a slightly different attire.. a manager, perhaps. The manager slumped to the ground and he went inside...."Bloody beautiful!" he said to himself. The weapons and collectables were all present and neatly grasped in the hands of giant faux heroes of stone. Which he admired further as he walked over and around a laser grid, carefully positioning little statues in the image of a masked rat around the perimeter. When it was finished he took a picture of himself beside the exhibit casually and stuck it on a desk beside a little note of his. Just in time, too! A small stone in his front pockets vibrated against his family treasure before a ladies voice spoke up.L: This is L. The channel is open. Arrre they therre, G?Biyan(G): Yes, Laif. I'm staring at them as we speak 'ere.Laif: That's L! There might be somebody listening to this channel, G! We're only 87.8% sure that there are no other stones.Biyan: Yes, Laif. 'ave you got my spot?Laif: Grrrr.Laif: I'm seeing it on the screen. Extrrracting now.Biyan: Right, Laif. 'urry it up, we don't 'ave all night. J out.Laif: Yourrr codename is--The small stone became still as it returned to its lifeless state and the conversation ended. Biyan yawned and stretched, adjusting his black mask slightly as he waited. It was one of those ones that only really covered the eyes of the thief wearing it. When he stopped moving it around the rat thief statues coincidentally began emitting a mist. The mist swallowed the floor inside the perimeter. The stone heroes, their respective collectables and Biyan fell into the sewers below and free from the grid. Biyan landed on the boat and the statues fell into the water and sunk to the bottom... the surface of the water at their waists. He maneuvered the boat around all statues and the tigress Laif gathered the goods with some resistance from the statues. After The Heist.Morning had come and by that time Biyan and Laif had left. He had finished his part of the deal and parted with the treasures and was acquainted with his payment. Laif and the other clients left with the entire exhibit and one less sack of money. Antonia Bayle, the Qeynos Guard and the first paying visitors arrived in the morning and were shocked to find the treasures gone. The queens shouts could be heard from even the Willow Wood when she found the photo and note.As for everyone else? They had a normal day and an amusing news article to read with their morning drink. Coffee, tea or ale.Notes.No guards were killed(only humiliated) in this endeavor.
