In Character photographs and videos?

Well lore wise I'd have to day paintings but if you want to put some 'roleplay' behind screenshots and such you could come up with a gnomish sounding device for it like "A gnonish reality image capturing foozlewig".

Yeah there are no cameras in this game. the Gnomes aren't that advanced. It would probably be called an artificial imigificator or something like that, instead of Foozlewig.

<p>I'd assume the projected image would still be drawn or painted onto a surface, but I have seen ingame art for something that resembles a "camera obscura", Gnomish base.  I want to say one of the paintings for sale by the city status merchant might even have the blueprints for it.</p><p>SO...if the Gnomes accidently found out that said image could tarnish a silver plate of some sort, and then with the right chemicals (If such can be mixed in Norrath) said "Tarnish" be made into a permament image, they would have photography.  We know they can build decent telescopes, between that and this "camera", we can see they might have the lens quality to make decent cameras.</p>

<p>I already mentioned I might make a RP event out of this (it would be on Splitpaw, and not for about a month though). </p><p>Gnomish inventors have discovered a whole new way to capture paintings...without a painter! Why wait for a paingting to be done? It takes hours! So use the new... Artificial Imigicator! It takes real pictures! Yes, real pictures! <p>It's Gnoma Obscura (the wall blueprint painting).</p><p>Can be purchased at guild level 5 from any city merchant. It's kind of an oversized clockwork camera ... or a blueprint of one at least.</p>
