Strange audio issues (pauses and loops)

I first noticed this problem when I went to explore the new runnyeye the gathering. Background music would seem to have pauses in the sound in quick pattern  I would say every second or 2, I have also noticed that noises would repeat themselves once or twice, for example if I sell at a merchant the change sound would repeat itself 2 times or so. I have began to experience this problem in just the few days I want to say Thursday is when I first noticed the problem.

I am getting this non stop, and so if my wife. Its driving me nuts. I will post machine info when I get homeedit: I should also add that it worked fine tell end of last week some time.
