Ive Read through alot of the problems about the newest patch and i've been trying them 1 by 1, each time it gets a little bit better but there seems to be alot.

The last 1 i cant seem to find a fix for is after this patch when i seem to type to much, or to fast at 1 time. The game will yet again freeze up and crash.

Other things ive fixed so far is

-The read only problem

-Force low mem

-Deleting cache

-Switch Sound to Dolby Surround

If any devs have any news on how to fix the random freezing and crashing thats basically making the game unplayable atm, i would greatly appreciate it.

I haven't experienced this myself and I've been playing quite a bit and typing a lot through chat over the last few days. Since it's crashing when you interact with the user interface, lets have you clear out the general settings files for EQ2 in case one of them has become corrupted.

You may want to delete the following files and folders:cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.ini

As well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.ini

To do this, please follow these directions:

1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the directory in the default directory:2. Click on MY COMPUTERCRIVEPROGRAM FILESSONYEVERQUEST II3. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 4. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher.
