<p>Yean since they redid that screen its doesnt entirely shows which classes betray to what anymore, for instance it shows the swashy, brigand and assassin all next to each other, but if you betray the assassin he becomes a ranger (the ranger is somewhere in the list all on his own). </p><p>That screen pretty much just shows the very similar classes together, its doesnt show betrayal options, most classes when they betray go to a very simialar playstyle, but not all.</p>

What you need to do is look at the AA lists for each Class then you will know the partner Sub-Class for each class. This dates back to when you "grew into" your class, where everyone started out as their Archetype(Priest, Mage, Scout, Fighter) then progressed to Class(Predator, Crusader, Brawler, etc) and then finally to your Sub-Class(which is what you now pick at creation). Lore wise both Palladans and Shadowknights are Crusaders for their chosen god Pallies originally choose Mith. Marr the god of light and justice while Shadowknights followed Inny the god of Hate.

Personally i think they tore those subclasses apart to avoid a fight with RA Salvatore about too many dark elf assassins picking a name that starts with D <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
