New problem

<p>Ever since I saw that my old account had been renewed for the Living Legacy I've been fighting an on going issue. I get dumped to characetr select screen after loading UI resources. Now I have found what seems to trigger this problem, but for the life of my cannot figure out how to fix it.</p><p>Since the patch I was able to play, non-stop for almost 14 hours. Yes I did break during that time, but I did everythign from running all over the planet zoning and dieing, and trying to crash my PC. Now I had no problems until this morning, when running around in Freeport I crashed while turning around to change direction in North Freeport. My game seized up, my Memory Monitor went nuts and informed me I had none of my 2 gigs worth of ram left to help process. After my computer choked and sputtered it finally closed EQ2 down and began to run normal. Since then I have been unable to log into the character that I was playing that got hung up.</p><p> I have tried once to get into another character with no success and I have even done a couple system restores to earlier this morning before any of this occured to no avail. ANyone have a suggestion?</p>

Need to clarify, need some insight on how to stop the memory overload as well as what files could be corrupted during a lok up like that I need ot replace. A full file scan does nothing for me.

Have you ran the low memory mode yet? I'm sorry I don't have your account info in front of me here.. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Try typing this in the chat client./force_low_mem_mode 1and of course /force_low_mem_mode 0to turn it off.

Do I have to type it for each character or does typing it for one character turn it on for the whole account?

It should work for the account, not per character.

<p>OK, I have it turned on then, but it failed to stop the main character from going disconnect again, I have been farmign the Notes quest in north Freeport by running from North Freeport, into Stonestair Byway, then into the Graveyard and I did it 3 times back and forth with no problem until I was heading out to kill the mobs again an got booted to character select upon loading Stonestair Byway.</p>
