I can not tell you how many times I have right clicked a name in my chat window to send a tell too and accidently placed that person Im talkn to on my ignor list. This is extreamly frustrating because you dont realize it until way after the fact and that whole conversation is doomed.

Why on earth SOE decited to make the right click ignor option, right next to the send tell command I do not know but its like a bad joke or something.

I know Im not the only one who has had this happen on both sides on more than one occasion.

SOE Please look into;

1) move the ignor right click option to the very bottom or

2) add a verification window when you right click ignor someone to prevent accidents

I bet I speak for many in this request I have /bugged and /feedback like a year ago.....

That's right. Very strange and hindering.

Why the heck must there be such an option in the right-click-menu clicking on a name? And furthermore without a confirmation dialogue.

You don't set people to ignore lists that often that it needs to have this quick and susceptibe to accidents option.

The written command "/ignore" is totally sufficient concerning its frequency of usage (once a month?) and can't cause unpleasant situations.

The same thing with deleting all buttons from a hotbar. It is very next to more frequently used options and also not protected by a confirmation dialogue being able to cause much trouble, too.

Clearing a hotbar completely you can also unlock the icons and drag and drop them out - it's not anything you do in combat and so the additional 5 seconds of unlocking and locking after done arrangement are not to much work.

/agree and think the hotbar issue is bigger.Right click hotbar to clear hotkey and select clear all hot keys instead. That can take 20 minutes to fix.Remove that option from the right click menu as well.

(( reminds me of EQ1 when pressing "a" would toggle autoattack by default.People were accidentally killing themselves CONSTANTLY on almost every town npc including Bankers, guards, quest npcs, guildmasters etc.It got so bad that it almost gave EQ1 a bad rep for a while, back in the dark ages of its beginnings.Whenever you'd go to type something to a quest npc (cos all of the EQ1 quests were text-driven, not speech-bubbles), and youd hit the letter "a" youd engage your target and they would likely proceed to kill you instantly lol.---

I agree that there are problems with the right-click menu. I have put a lot of people on ignore because of it, but I also noticed the other night that when I went to send a tell to someone that the "report spam" is directly underneath the tell button on that menu. I had a lot of tells the one night when I was playing and had a couple of lags and noticed that I accidentally hit the report spam button at least twice when I tried to use the right click menu to send tells out. I have gotten to the point that I have started just to type it in instead of using the right-click menu. I do wish that they would rearrange those buttons on the menu or put some confirmation windows on certain buttons.
