If you are having connection issues, please try the following.All usersPower cycle your modem router.  Unplug the power on the modem for 20 seconds. Then plug back in.Re-add EQ2.exe to your allowed list with your firewall.VISTA usersRight click on EQ2.,exe icon and select run as administrator.  The executable has changed and Windows may have forgotten what it was.Happy Hunting!I'm jealous of all those in Runnyeye now and collecting those red shinies!

<p>I've been running EQ2 for quite some time with the EQ2client application set as ' Out-Bound Access Only ' in my firewall. I'm unable to run the game unless it has full access now. What is the reason to make this change now?</p>

Generally in an update the executable will change.  Most programs will think of this as a "new" program and need to be readded.
