sick of updating, 2 days so far and still got 8 hours

<p>im getting tired of updating, i bought the full version yesterday and so far i havent had chance to play as it has been updating!</p><p>i left it all last night, and it stll had not finished and again i get home tonight and i still have 8 hours!</p><p>what is annoying is you pay monthly to play and so far i havent got to, and i only get to play at night when i get home from work and tonight is going to be another night i cant play?</p><p>wanna place bets if i will get to play tomorrow night?!</p><p>is there anyway to speed it up?  i have 20mb download yet it goes at around 30-80kb/s</p><p>with this game i just seem to run into problem after problem </p>

Have you disabled the optional downloads?  That should speed it up.You can find the optional downloads bu canceling the download, clicking PREFERENCES, then un shading the circles for optional content or change it to download while playing rather then immediately.

<p>The patcher can be a little buggy at times, try canceling download and restarting it every 20 mins or so... it doesn't loose what its already downloaded.</p><p>Also depending on how your computer is set up, it may be going to sleep after awhile and not doing anything. Mine would turn off my Ethernet card to save power, yet the patcher was happily ticking away not doing anything purposeful.</p>

<p>There are a few other possiblities as well.</p><p>Is it getting stuck on the same file every time?  Are you running vista?  Do you have a firewall turned on when downloading?</p>
