Far too much fun with my Fury

<p>My 80 Fury was asked to help a guildmate with the Return to the Light HQ. The 26 Guardian needed help with the Bloodskull Valley (Maulic's stronghold I think).</p><p>Now I'm not raid equipped, Mainly MC armor and weapon. All spells are ad3 except for Starshower M2 and Ball Lightning M1 ( bought on the broker for a stupid amount of plat, but worth it).</p><p>We had no luck finding anyone else to help so we decided to try it. What's the worst that could happen, death? So I mentor down and away we go.</p><p>We get in and the waves start comming. The Guardian is doing well and I can easily keep him healed. I start firing Sunrise and ball lightning. By the third wave I'm nearly OOM. In the middle of the wave I go OOM and can't keep the Guard up and he dies. I'm still surrounded but still green health so I turn on animal form. By the time the guard revives and returns my health is red but I have 30% power so switch off animal form and group HOT. The last wave with the big guy arrives and the Guard takes on all comers and I once again fire sunrise and ball lightning.</p><p>Soon enough we are standing among scores of dead orcs. We survived! The Guard dinged 27 and tells me how amazing a Fury I am. (I'm not that amazing just cool under fire)</p><p>But I do have to say I love being a Fury!</p>

<p>Yea, I really do enjoy my fury alot more then any of the other classes, but I must reiterate you hit the nail on the head. Just stay cool and calm, once you panic your dead.</p><p>I've solo'd things I probably shouldn't have been able to solo just cause of animal form, heck I actually enjoy really long fights as long as they don't hit me too hard.</p><p>In your story I guess the only advice I would have given is you probably should have done animial form earlier then so late. /shrug you guys still won soo kind of moot. Also I use my mana stone when I can helps some.</p>

You are correct about going to animal form earlier. If I was as "amazing" as my guildmate thought I was he wouldn't have died. I never did the manastone quest. I guess I can do it now and still get the aa<img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/ed515dbff23a0ee3241dcc0a601c9ed6.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /> .

You should also look into some manawell gear, a lot of it (if not all?) comes from the new expansion. Not sure how to look it all up, but its something you can try <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
