Hi -

I had my PC crash recently and a video card go bad. I have since repaired everthing and got 2 new cards...

My setup is:

VISTA 64

Core Duo 2.67

4GB Ram

RAID 0

2x Nvidia 8800GTS

I loaded the latest nvidia drivers from scratch, and havent touched any of the settings. Can someone tell me the best way I should set these cards in the nvidia control panel and in game for the best experience based on above?

I appreciate the help.

Not having used an 8800 myself I cannot give you specifics. My suggestion is to start on the lowest, and start moving the graphics up, adding water and shadows last.

For starters, we recommend the following drivers for NVidia 8000 series card on computers using Vista 32bit:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvis...69.25_whql.html ForceWare 169.25

Besides that, you will probably want to enable the 'Reuse Vertex Buffers' option in the Preferences menu in game.

Everything else is usually up to your personal preferences. I usually prefer high frame rates over flashy graphics but thats just me. Once the basics are set up I just tinker with the video options until I find a good balance of performance and quality.
