Defense vs parry vs deflect vs riposte

<p>What is the order of importance in reguards to these skills in terms of both AA's and gear selection.</p><p>My thinking is that  parry > deflect > defense > riposte.</p><p>Our defensive stance buffs deflect & defense and 20% of parries are riposte.</p><p>Law of diminishing returns would make parry the best.</p><p>No real reason to rank deflect over defense other then, defense seems easier to raise through buffs/gear.</p><p>Riposte fires off parry, and even then only 20% of the time. So it seems to be the least valuable.</p><p>Thoughts.</p>

<p>I don't know what it is officially for a brawler, but I was always under the impression that deflection was the most important defensive skill.</p><p>So thought it was Deflection > Parry > Defense</p><p>For most other tanks I think their avoidance is parry based while ours is deflection based which really messes up our riposte chances.</p><p>With that said though I still didn't want to use the stamina AA line as I prefered some of the items that were provided through the agility, wisdom and int line.  I have 7 points in defense, 8 points to increase health, and 8 points into parry.</p>

Thanks for the info.  Didn't realize that the order of things went parry before deflections.  I just know almost everything is deflections for me with the occasional parry and ripostes are almost non-existant.  Haven't tried it yet but does the 3% riposte adornments stack if you use one on each fist?
