Interrupted Heals

I am new to the Paladin word so this question has probably already been discussed but here goes.  I just went one on one with a 33 beserker and got him to red before I died.  During the fight I was constantly getting interrupted because it takes so long to get a heal cast.  What is the solution to getting off your heals?  I could have beat him if i could have got a good heal off.  I am level 27 with all MC armour, adept 3 on all spells and combat and stam line 44861 and str 2.  Any suggestions to casting heals faster?

give him a shield bash or some other stun effect before you start casting.  the pally aa's speed up heals but not alot, however it might help.  hit divine aura on him and let him burn up power doing nothing to you.. that's a load of laughs

<p>That really is the best advice. Shield bash is our single longest duration stun. This means he'll have half the time to interrupt you than he would have otherwise.</p><p>If you want to cut the odds a little more, save your shield bash and heal for when he actually stuns you. At minimum, it will take 10 seconds for his stun/interrupt to recycle from the time he uses it so you'll have one less stun to worry about when your shield bash wears off.</p>

It may not help alot since heals do go off so slow but make sure your focus in maxed. You may also want to check your AAs and see if there is a way to speed up casting time of your heals and if all else fails use your LoH, I don't think it has a cast time nor uses power.
