I installed EQII last night and have since been trying to get it to run on my laptop with Windows Vista on it.  Every time I run the exe for EQII I get an error saying:"The Station LaunchPad is unable to connect to the network at this time.  Please try again in a few minutes."I am able to connect on a different PC also running Vista.  Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!-Konkeroar

Have you power-cycled (unplug the power for 20 seconds) your modem/router and rebooted the PC?

i would have power cycled the modem and router if there weren't 2 other people playing EQ through it at the time.  and i have had to reboot the pc multiple times so far.

See if you can reset it then when they take a break from slaughtering rodents.  If they are like my roommate, telling them that a PB&J is on a counter out front, should be enough time :p

<p>Hahaha, thanks for all the help.  It turns out the issue was that my gf had not reinstalled windows when she bought her ACER LAPTOP (worst idea ever imo <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" />) and Acer does not allow you to be the full admin on their formatted hard drive.  So I reinstalled windows last night, and bam.  EQ works.  I'm in the process of updating right now!</p><p>-Konkeroar</p>
