I think he means AA setup? Not positive but I know in Guild Wars, your build means what skills you have on your skill bar, what stats you put your points into to maximize the effectiveness of said skills, and your gear. Not sure how that would translate to EQ2 though so AA setup and possibly gear are the only things I can think of. Then again the term "build" might apply to some other game I haven't played but the only one I know of for sure where it's used is GW.

Spec is a WoW term, basically equivalent to an AA build in the EQ's.

And no, I don't play WoW, but I beta'd it.

I constantly hear both build and spec in regards to AAs in this game as well. I dont think its as much of a game thing really. Its even called "respec".

Even the term "AA" came from another game (EQ) meaning alternate advancement points. We refered to them as AA points. In this game it's called acheivements or acheivement points. For us lazy old timers, it was just easier to refer to them as "AA." I'd answer the OP's question, but I didn't level an assassin. I leveled a ranger then betrayed at 80.
