crashing as zone loads

<p>Hello,</p><p>I moved from USA to Korea and tried to log in to EQ2.  I am able to log in and run updates as needed. When I select a character 1 of 2 things happen.  Either the zone will load after character selection and the game will close it self out (kicking me back to desktop) or as the zone is loading I see invalid username or password and I am kicked back to desktop.  Please help.</p>

Hmmm...  Well I hate to do this to you, as many people think that it is NOT this issue...  But it is the first step in troubleshooting a connection issue *gulp*Check that a <a href="http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bin/soe.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=11851" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">firewall/router</a> isnt interfering at all with the game.  If you are on a  group type connection such as a college campus, then you may need to contact their Admin and see if the items needed are opened.If after all this is done...  Then you may want to post the info suggested in <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=353617" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> *** Read before posting ***</a> for connection issues.I remember that there was an issue with that part of the world and some accidental IP blocking (I believe it was).  This issue was fixed by sending one of the techies your username (NOT the password)...  But first, lets knock out the basics...Good luck! Hopefully you can get back into Norrath soon!

Even though Elorah is dead on with the connection issue, I would like to make sure it is not an account issue, please send me your station name in a PM.  Also, yes please, no passwords, I have my own supertech cool ub way of doing that.

<p>Thanks for the advice.  I am running a wireless network (2 computers) linksys wrt100.  I hope thats not the problem.</p><p> I can run EQ 1, WoW, DAoC, and EVE without any issues.  </p>
