Game will load... but cant log any characters..

Ok here is whats going on, i will open Everquest II, it will update and i click on play ( i have character select selected ). It will come up to the character select screen, i choose my character and click play. After that i get stuck at the loading character screen, it will not log me in.  AFter about 5 mins, i will get a message saying There is no server for characters zone, please try again in a few minutes. I am on Befallen server and it is up according to Everquest II Players. Any idea's?

And considering more threads about just befallen, it seems that that very server has gone offline for one reason or another.
