View Full Version : Computer restart after 5-10 min

Hi,<div></div><div>Ok I now my computer is a little unsupported so just looking for what the problem might be. Basically EQ2 runs great for 5-10 min then it restarts.</div><div></div><div>System:</div><div>Windows XP SP2</div><div>Macbook Pro</div><div>Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz</div><div>3 GB RAM</div><div>ATI Mobile X1600 128 MB</div><div></div><div>Steps tried:</div><div>- Bootcamp drivers</div><div>- Omega drivers</div><div>- Window mode</div><div>- Several resolutions</div><div>- Forcing EQ2 process on 1 core</div><div></div><div>While playing the 5-10 min everything runs very smooth and no issues at all.</div><div></div><div>I am able to play Age of Conan on this computer for several hours with no issues at all.</div><div></div><div>So just wondering what in the EQ2 client can cause this to happen.</div><div></div><div>Maybe some TSR-Rep know any useful command I can add in the .ini files to fix this</div><div></div><div>Any help appreciated <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div></div>

<p>While I've heard some reports of instability while running the game with bootcamp, I haven't owned a mac to experience it myself.  Sadly, we don't support macs so I don't have the luxury of reports from the compatibility lab, either.  </p><p>If anyone in the community has had experience running eq2 this way I would love to hear your suggestions.</p>
