Error at startup

Once i hit play I get a error that says "E:liveeq2frameworkcoredevicessrcdirectx9renderdevi c.cpp (9817): sRestoreGammaRap(): Gamma ramps are not saved" Anyone know how to fix this, im playing on a decent machine, good vidcard, 2 gigs of ram, 3.8 dualcore processor and running vista? anyone know how to fix this? thanks

Sorry the reply is late, ive tried doing those things listed such as downloading the new directx and reinstalling the drivers.. Eq2 runs fine on my cruddy desktop, this is a laptop i am trying to get it to work on though, the chipset has 3d support and i have used it with other games of the same graphics intensity.. i dont know how im gonna get it to work i just thinking it would be nice because the quality would be better, if anyone has any other solutions id try all of them frankly.

What type of video card are you running?

I dont think its a videocard supported by the game, its a mobile chipset, but it seems to run everything else i play totally fine, is it possible at all to get it to work you think?

Yeah I am sorry but that chipset cannot run Everquest 2.  Hopefully your laptop manufacturer has some upgrade options available for you.
