Hello again Chompie,

Check your inbox. I went ahead and sent you the file again as a temporary work around. I'd like to figure out what is causing this issue for you, though. Please try running the connection tests below so that we can investigate the problem.

To generate your Trace information:

Click on the START menu, select RUN and type in CMD and select OK.

When the "DOS" (black window with grey text) box opens up, type in the following commands exactly as they are shown and press the ENTER key after each line:

ipconfig /all >> c:eq2info.txt

tracert guk.everquest2.com >> c:eq2info.txt

tracert befallen.everquest2.com >> c:eq2info.txt

tracert valor.everquest2.com >> c:eq2info.txt

exit

Be advised that each of these commands will take a few moments to complete, so please wait for the prompt before typing the next command. Finally, upon completion of these commands, you will find a file labeled "eq2info.txt " on the root level of your C: drive. You can use the Find command from the Start menu to locate it. Open the file using notepad/wordpad and paste the contents to the appropriate thread.

Remove the '_delta_5' from the end of the file so it simply says "Everquest2.exe". Then place the file in the directory where you installed Everquest 2.

(Default: C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II)

Iam on the military base, but its a Japanese ISP, I checked with them and they are not throttling. I reinstalled eq2 and download all of the huge patch except the last files. Weird that iam able to download the all the other files from a fresh install untill the end then i cant get these.

If you are tech save, try the following for your DNS resolver in your tcpip configuration

Primary DNS - 4.2.2.1

Secondary DNS 4.2.2.2

Before you enter them, try doing a ping to both addresses to verify they are reachable
