View Full Version : Clarification for the AA Iceshape please

<p>Im not really understanding what the value of Iceshape is in out Wizards Cold tree. All heat and magic spells are considered cold based, I get that description. I just dont get the value of it.</p><p>Anyone care to give me some beneficial uses please?</p>

There are other abilities and things that trigger off of casting a cold spell.  ex the Frostbound Gift spell line.  Now you are casting more of them.Fendaria

<cite>simpwrx02 wrote:</cite><blockquote><p>it si to make hte gift spell proc line proc all of your spells instead on 1/3 of them.</p><p> use a macro  useability iceshape,  then useability XXXXXgift... now you have 12-22 seconds of all your spells procing extra damage.</p></blockquote>Which turns out to be just enough time to nuke a mob down from max range without root and without ice comet/nova/bolt.  My normal routine now-a-days is to FH + Ice Nova, if still standing throw a BoM to finish.  For the next mob, hit the iceshape + FG macro, use up all my lower hitting but faster cast spells and the mob usually dies as it reaches my feet.  Take a very short break for Ice Nova to reset, then repeat.  FG is a great proc as it adds extra damage and a slow effect on every cast.

<p>yeah to sum it up it adds a cold proc to all your spells...cast that then cast the cold proc spell and it adds extra damage.</p><p> Nice for soloing too..can kite a mob for 22 sec since it snares the mob too.</p>
