Level New or Restart Old SK?

In order to get a feel for the class again after a long time away from EQ2, I rolled a new SK, twinked him a bit, and leveled him to 15.  I'd rather not level all the way up to where my main is (55), but I started my SK the day Nagafen opened, and I've only got 30-some AA points am and relatively poor.  Also, I am sure that many spells/CAs have changed since I last played, so I have that learning curve to overcome as well.Now I could spend some time harvesting rares (any suggestion on which tier is most profitable?) to raise funds for some adepts/masters, but that still leaves me very much behind on AAs.  I could possibly mentor with guildies and re-do some quests/kill nameds, but that seems like a rather time-consuming venture.What would you guys recommend, level new SK or beef up my current?  Thanks for the feedback.

<p>My SK (Dartak) was made long before there were AAs, but it didn't kill me.  I would recommend grabbing some of your green solo quests maybe high lvl grey ones.  Go pound on the mobs for those, working slowly back into things.  The AAs will actually roll in much faster than you might think.  I didn't earn a single AA point until 50ish (and a bit after KoS came out), and I never felt like it hurt me too badly.  Sure everyone else was showing off their massive AA point numbers, but I was dinging AAs like crazy.  You catch up close enough quick enough and at 80 all xp goes into AAs so you will catch up completely eventually.  I think I am at 128 or something and seems like I started back up pretty much at the same point you are.</p><p>I also understand wanting to relearn the buttons.  What one of my guildies has done is make a throw away lowbie of the same class.  Then he levels that to about 20ish and then goes back to his main.  Lets him relearn buttons and whatnot without too much trouble.  Then you are only left studying the few new abils you have gotten and putting the newest version of each line where you liked them on the lowbie.</p><p>Hope that helps!</p>
