I just hit level 70 last week and I'm working on 71 between work and other things. It's going fairly slow so I'm gobbling up all the quests I can in Kylong Plains and Fens.

My question is my STR at level 70 self buffed is about 507. I was wondering what the "norm" for my level is and the best ways to improve this? I was reading on another site that at level 80 you should cap your strength fully buffed in raids at 1220 but with me sitting at just over 500 with only 10 levels to go between 70 and 80, how do you get that extra 3-400 strength it takes in order to max out with other buffs piled on top?

Is it all gear related or am I missing something?

Or does it not matter at all? I haven't done much raiding at all since I just hit level 70 but I'm definitely interested in raiding once I reach 80. But I'm also not obsessed over stats like some people are.

(( It's mostly gear related, but there are other things you can do.First about gear, each piece you wear from any slot should give at LEAST 15-20 str, no less.Second, you can use cheap STR potions anytime, always good to have a stockpile before you go hunting, they are called Elixir of Fortitude, and come in various strengths and prices.Third, get your Rallos Zek diety quest done, the end pet gives a ton of free STR.Fourth, pick Ogre, lots of bonus STR from not only the class in itself, but all the racial traits.Fifth, respec and pick the STR perks in your character progression choices. If I recall correctly I usually sat around 600-something str at 70, and hit 800 when fully buffed and in combat. (that was after using expert fortitude potions and hitting my racial +str temporary buffs) (all SOLO)In raids Str caps out pretty easily even at 70, if you can ask for str buffs in raid they give you a good 150 to 200+ str. (at 80 its much easier to cap your useable str).STR IS important, but dont forget about +Crit, +Dps and +CAdmg---

There is also a huge difference between t7 and t8 gear. Once your able to wear t8 gear it will go up quite a bit.

if he's already lvl 70 its a little late "pick ogre" secondly DE, Ratonga, and others have MUCH better racials for scouts.

As for the STR thing, 507 at lvl 70 isnt horrible but it should be closer to 600, most decently equipped assassins sit between 700 800 self buffed at lvl 80.

Well the thing is I never got a chance to raid before RoK and so I have no raid gear, no special legendary drops or anything like that and my guild is falling apart so I don't even have a guild to help me right now. I picked DE as a race because I liked the look. not for any other reason.

Her strength has bumped up a little to 535 now, self buffed. >.< but DPS mod is now at 62.
