login rejected client version does not match the server [Archive]

I came home from work, started the patcher, and got this message. I am on a laptop with vista, havent had any problems with the game yet, nothing changed, no new programs, nothing is different. I closed out EQII lastnight, and when I got back today, this happened. Any idea what this could be? I tried numerous attempts to restart, tried opening eq from the eq file, through launcher, rebooted cpu....dont know what else to try.

Same thing happened to me last night. I got home and jumped on one account and logged in no problem. I then logged out of that account and switched to my second account and when I did the Station Launcher pached for about 30 seconds to a minute and then I got "Login rejected: client version does not match server version, please repatch"I tried several times to repatch last night using the Station Launcher and the EQ2's desktop icon to no avail. I did about 3 full file scans and even went so far as to delete a few of the files that looked like they got patched (ie. by how the showed date and time in program manager) and that didn't work either.I have tried both accounts several times and each time I get the same message "Login rejected. . ."

I am also having this same issue. Full Scan does not do anything to fix the problem

Same problem here. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the station launcher. I've also run all the tests and suggestions given in the knowledgebase for any connection issues.
