Launcher problems

I saw that there was a 60 free days to return to EQ2 and so I installed EQ2 first using my KOS(+EQ2) discs, then with the DOF discs. Clicking on the EQ2 icon and bringing up the loader before I'd put in my account name/pw, it gets stuck. This wasn't the only place it had been getting stuck, but now it keeps staying at "Receiving File login-map.png_delta..." (truncated). I also tried downloading the beta station launcher, and that doesn't get any further, as it sticks at the title and in taskbar on bottom of windows XP it will stay at initializing launchpad or updatinglaunchpad.. I have been somewhat impatient and just closed them after about 15-20 minutes of them not doing anything, because it didn't seem right.. Should I just uninstall EQ2 completely and download the launcher from station website??

I'm having this problem too, but I never left the game. I tried to log in on my lvl 44 conj, and the game freezes, after selecting her. Forcing me to reboot everytime. Usig the escape key do not fix the problem. i also tried to post the samething in the knowledge base, but I kept getting an error message site do not exsits, and it's link is sending to who know where.

I uninstalled EQ2 and downloaded the launcher from station.sony, now after having been on for >8 hours its stuck at "Receiving file xbutton-hov.png_delta..."
