Hi everyone!

Well I just got my assassin to 70 recently and decided to take a break from her, maybe let her accumulate a little vitality while I focus on someone else.

I started my troub on Guk server back when the game first launched and she was my first ever EQ2 toon. That being said, I leveled her up to 25 and then developed a severe case of alt-itis. I'm an on again off again gamer so when I get bored, I take a break and spend my time with other things. Currently I'm in an on again stage.

At any rate, I stopped playing my trouby before any of the expansions came out, so she had no AA's. I decided to start playing her again and I'm wondering if being at level 25 with no AA points will be a deterrent, or if it will be easy to make up those AA's? It wasn't an issue with my assassin because I started her out at level one post-EoF.

The other question I had was about the dieties (that spelling looks wrong.) I searched the threads in this forum and couldn't really find anything about what diety is better for the troubadour class? I'll probably be soloing quite a bit, since my guild used to be big but recently many of the members have left or have been off playing other games. I found that after leveling up an assassin, it's easier to understand the scout class and thus, I'm having an easier time playing and soloing the troub than what I remember when I quit playing her.

Anyway, any input from you seasoned trouby veterans would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can combat lock XP and probably do a few of the later Timorous Deep quests to kick start some AA gain. Stay locked for a bit and do the Butcherblock quests. Once you finish Butcherblock, you'll probably be near L30 despite not gaining any XP in combat, and you should have 20 or so AA's.It's no great loss, for sure.

You will elarn the char better and get AA's along the way...and it will be just as fast as turning off XP. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just saying.....

I've thought about it. The thing is, it was my first EQ2 toon and so I'm loathe to delete her for sentimental reasons. I suppose I could always make a different Troub, but then she is also my broker mule. Meh. lol

Either method--rerolling, or backtracking and doing grey quests for AA--will be blindingly fast.Turn off combat XP if you want, and go intercept the Timorous Deep and Darklight Woods and Greater Faydark questlines at the level 10 quests, and you'll catch up on AA in an easy weekend.Delete your character, restart and do those zones at-level, and you'll be level 25 with good AA in an easy weekend. Your choice.
