This has happened to me many times. It takes a few minutes sometimes for them to pop, because of bad client performance i guess. If they haven't popped in a good couple of minutes then i usually relog.

This used to happen to me all the time, pretty much every time I used a griffon anywhere, but especially in TS. I can only assume it has to do with having your computer on lower performance settings, because I used to have to sit there and wait for at least a few minutes for them to show up, and after getting a new computer I haven't had any such problem.

Griffon Tamers are union workers and get mandatory breaks every 4 hours. Learn to time your flights accordingly and you should be fine.  Whatever you do, do NOT attempt to fly a griffon without assistance from a Griffon Tamer as you could be fined a significant amount of plat, as well as barred from future griffon service.

I used to have this issue with my older computer.  I'd wait until someone else came by and target them when they hailed the griffon tamer.  This would put the tamer on my target who was actually located on the ground inside the tower.
