Fish Quest...

So i rolled a new toon in Kelethin, a elf monk and at lvl 12 i went down to Gorowyn(with much hard work to run through Butcherblock) to do that mounted fish quest. i managed to catch the fish gave it to the sarnak fisherman but it's been 10 hours and i still have to get my fish by mail <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />something wrong? on my other toon i got the fish in 1 hour

Nope, it is once you get into the city Gorowyn.....Gorowyn is a great place to level up....

I always seemed to get my mounted fish via mail after logging out and then logging in again within the hour.  <shrugs>  But who knows, they may have changed it.

You have to walk far enough into Gorowyn that you get the location text show up that says "Gorowyn". Then that triggers the mail.

Didnt you pick up the griffon towers on your original run through BB?If not, grab them now, it makes it a lot faster <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

in order to pick up a griff i must do the quest to find all griff places so i jsut ran to the shores and 3 deaths later i finally found the sarnak griff trainer and got my fish! YEY! <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

yup, it is confusing there, I ran my new guy to bbm today, and my defiler up there for the deity quest..I still get lost from the docks, although I know now that if I end up at the lfay griffon I have missed the turning.EQ2Map addon is a real lifesaver btw...if you dont have it yet, I highly recommend it, I was against using a map addon originally, as I have never done that in other games, but after spending forever in Gfay looking for mobs I got it, and its extremely helpful
