Fires of Anguish house item

<p>After completing the Power of Hate quest, I went to preview the reward item, but my dressing room window tells me that I need to patch before I can preview the item. (Which I have.. full scan, etc). Everything else displays properly.</p><p>Then when placing it in my house, the item is invisible. I can retrieve it via the door, but as soon as I select Place, the cursor turns invisible and stays that way until I place the item, which can't be seen when placing it or afterwards.</p><p> Any ideas? Oh, and no, no custom inventory or dressing room UI stuff is in the mix.</p><p>I've bugged the thing, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this.</p>

Totally random suggestion and I am not a very good tech support person but...Check to see if you are downloading Optional content (On the Launchpad where you press the PLAY button, there is a Preferences button below it, that will open a window that you can look at).Let me know,  I'll pass this along to be looked into as well.- K

<p>Yes'm.</p><p> All optional downloads are enabled and ran another Full File Scan just a few minutes ago just to make sure.</p><p>I've even tried placing it on the second floor and going downstairs to see if it appears below where it's supposed to and vice versa. And clicking where it was placed doesn't give me any interaction options either like pick up or move (on the off chance it's invisible but still interactable).</p><p>As far as I can tell, everything else in the house is visible and nothing else has ever given me that message in the Dressing Room.</p><p>I appreciate you looking at the situation. <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /> </p>

Think its just a bug, I've had this happen with a select few other items. /bug and /petition is the best thing you can do <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

(( worked fine for me, i download everything i can get my hands on... (Not to say you dont have an issue yourself personally, just reporting my experiences.I did note the item appeared very small in the preview window and was HUGE in house 8-) I was pleased maybe for house items they should have a little mannequin or a Human sized object you can turn on and off for size comparison in the Dressing Room window---<img src="http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g69/Arctura000/Skree-sig2008a.jpg" border="0" alt="" />

<p>Last night I had the same exact experience as the OP with this item when placing it in a home.  My game is set up so that all optional stuff is downloaded immediately and a full file check didn't make any changes.</p><p>I'm using the stock UI and got the same message in the preview window.  I couldn't see the item in the home, though my friend saw it and her character was able to climb up on it.  Funny thing is, my character just walked right through it - it absolutely wasn't physically there to the character.</p><p>I have the same issue in the same house with the new ornate fork, spoon, and knife.  I also have the same issue with one particular book,  I did bug it a couple weeks ago but its not fixed yet.</p>

Don't know what changed, but when I walked in the house after Tuesday's update, there it was sitting right there where I had last tried placing it.
