I've played eq2 for a long time, and when my m8 wanted to try it out he got himself a quest to even find a place to purchase the game??i've tried several sites but its unavailable everywhere... called play.com and was told that sony has removed the game from their stocks...?so where can this game be purchased?he tried to do it directly from the everquest 2 official site, clicked the rise of kunark now available, created an account, clicked the purchase all in one package, wrote down his credit card info, and then nothing happened?so what to do?

If he created a station account and purchased the game online the he needs to download/install the game and he's good to go.

Otherwise the game can be purchased online from Direct 2 Drive, the Sony store, or various retail outlets. In my area Best Buy always has a copy or two in stock of both EQ2 and EQ1. If you're in the UK I'm not sure what retailers would be available, but direct from Sony or D2D should work.

I just looked it up on Best Buy's website and it is listed as Backordered. Perhaps there's a supply situation at the moment. You might want to try calling either your local retailer (to see if they have a physical copy in stock) or perhaps SoE customer service to see if there is a known supply issue going on. Too bad you're not in my area... I saw two copies on the shelf at my local shop this weekend.

Greetings,You should be able to purchase the game through the station store. Based on your description, it seems like you might have already. If you'd like, I can check your account to see whether the game has been enabled on it. Simply PM me the login name you created and I'll check on that for you.The download link for the game is listed below:http://everquest2.station.sony.com/installAnd here's the station store if you still need to make the purchase:https://store.station.sony.com/
