Application out of Memory in Neriak

<p>Ok</p><p>Where in the project list is the fix for Application running out of memory?  Every time I'm in Neriak I crash!  its been a not so fun thing since the zone was created but it was tweaked awhile back and now I can hardly move and then after a bit eq2 client crashes.  I've seen the other posts and know its not fixed and has not been for quite some time.  SO the question now becomes where is it in the project backlog list? </p><p>Thanks,</p><p>Gru</p>

I had this problem as well. The only way I could fix it was by lowering my EQII settings to the max performance setting, and now no longer have the problem. It looks ugly but works anyways. Then again I was running on my old laptop with only 512 megs of Ram, on my comp at home with 4 gigs I have no problem except a slight drop in fps.

Anyone else have suggestions for the memory leak? It's really bad for me in Gorowyn.  I get about 15 minutes before EQ2 crashes.

<p>I set the video settings to RAID from the fetish UI and the problem seems to have gone away.  I really don't think posting DX settings help since I've seen others do it for over a year now with no change.  Its simply not on the hotlist of things to get done IMHO.  My guess is there is/was some QA person telling the project manager about it and they PM told him to stuff it in so many words.</p><p>Gru</p>
