Due to AA issues (kinda long to explain) I'm thinkin about re-rolling a new SK on Nagafen after another year away from EQ2. My question is are SKs as gimped as one would gather from reading the forums? I'm not going to be raiding anytime soon, and will likely be spending a lot of time soloing. Is this a bad idea for someone who basically is starting from scratch? Thanks.

Check the eq2flames board.

As for [Removed for Content], IMHO, the only content that SK's are weak in is in raid content. I would love to see some changes of course, especially in the AGI and WIS lines and I'd love to see better itemization along with more group encounters but the SK is a fun and rewarding class outside of raid content.

Consider how many people actually post on these boards and how many actually play the class, these forums represent a very microscopic view. Not that there are not some legit gripes but all the doom and gloom is a bit over the top. I do agree with others that if your goal is to do end-game raiding this is not a very good class to choose.
