Hello I'm brand new to EQ and while i don't have a top of the line computer and my graphics card is certainly the bottleneck i was wondering what setting should i run eq 2 on  to avoid major lag issues here is my hardware setup .Intel Dual Core 1.80 ghz2 gigs ddr2  667Geforce 7200 GS150 Gig harddrive 7200 rpmwindows xp homeAgain i know this ain't the best computer by far on the market but i will be building a new over the course of the summer

<span style="font-size: small;">I’d say High Performance setting at best. EQ2 is heavily dependant on the CPU clock speed and, sadly, it will not take advantage of your dual core…1.8 Ghz is not really fast when an application only use one of your CPU core. On top of that, your video card is (sorry about that) really crappy for 3D game and application. I mean, even with a good/middle range pc, EQ2 doesn’t have good performance… this is my setup:Athlon x2 6000+2 gig ddr2 pc667BFG 8800 GT OC 512 ddr3I have around 40 fps, in a field with NPC and player around me. In town (Neriak) I have around 30 with some drop below 20. I play at high quality with everything on, including the shadow. I just got back to the game, so I didn’t have time to group, but I presumed I will have around 20-25 fps in group with some drop below 20.</span><p ><span style="font-size: 20pt;"></span></p>

Hmm i see , Is there anyway that both cores can be used for eq 2 i heard with some games there are ways with certain utility software and such , Anyways any help with this issue would be great

EQ2 is a single processor game.  There are no patches or other software Ive heard of that would work properly.
