(( Ogres are the only race with only 1 voiceover choice.Ogre.not even Brute or sly.... arent ogres supposed to be a BIT more intelligent now that the curse has been lifted? ive heard Ogre NPC speeches with full verbal dialogue...What gives? Can the powers at be just toggle Ogres to atleast 2 voice over choices? We should atleast get to choose BRUTE male or female!---'<img src="http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g69/Arctura000/Skree-sig2008a.jpg" border="0" alt="" />

And here I thought them just saying Ugg was a great accomplishment. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Most of the Ogre NPCs I talk to nowadays seem to have the 'Default Barbarian Male' voice. Makes me do a double take every time. Oh, I know the Ogres had their curse lifted, but that doesn't give them the Barbarian accent. Of course, most new (and lots of old, too, it seems to have crept backwards) NPCs seem to use the oddest default voices... the horrible gravelly been-smoking-for-3-decades 'am I male or female' voice for females (especially those at the griffon towers) and the like. They need to do a voice overhaul nearly as much as the long overdue skeletal revamp. Makes me afraid to say that, since that might doom it to the skeletal revamp's timetable.EDIT: And I'll toss in a request here for more voices for the Trolls, too. I know people who make Trolls and then turn off their voices because the choices are so terrible.

<span style="color: #00cc00;">They probably do the barbarian accent because they are always getting drunk with the Freeportian Barbarians. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </span>

Think it's the same for Ratonga but it's been awhile since I've played one of those filthy little vermin. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />As for the griffon station tamers....I remember a time when they had voices to match their race/gender.  Oh those were the times...back when the world made sense and bugs were minor issues that were hotfixed within the week.  Then EoF came out....Yes, I do believe that's when the horror started.  Frostfell went to heck, voices became distant when close or loud from far away and then the worst that could happen...the tamers awoke one day to find their voices had drastically changed.  In the far distances, Fippy Darkpaw could be heard cackling along side his new lord and master...Nathan Ironforge.

Ratonga, Sly and Sinister (funny thing is, Sinister is SO deep and projecting, it sounds hilarious on a ratty <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Now all we need is more choices for ogres!---<img src="http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g69/Arctura000/Skree-sig2008a.jpg" alt="" border="0" />

I think they made a big goof when they issued voices to the sarnak. They rushed through that. They mostly all sound like barbarians. I was hoping they would sound more like iksars. Some do. But a barbarian voice coming out of something so slim and primitive is almost as bad as if they gave Ratonga's the brute voice.
