I have been playing for a bit now, I have played an assassin, ranger, bezerker, shadowknight and now a wizard. I actually like them all so far.

Things that stand out for me is I really like the look of the shadowknight armour I have seen with the cool helm or the ninja outfit with the assassin. I also like the cool graphics with the wizards spells, seeing the chains come out and grab onto the monster and hold it while I nuke it looks awesome.

So is there another class you think I should try that looks wicked and has awesome special effects? Eventually I want to be able to pick one class as my main alt. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, since the very beginning of the game, the Brawlers have always had full-appearance chest slot items that gave us the Gi appearance.

Against much protest from the brawler community, they introduced gi's for all non-mage classes to wear in RoK. Now us brawlers have to deal with posers running around pretending to be us because they're wearing the Gi of the Jarsath Swifttail (Who's name alone should mean brawler ONLY) in the appearance slot.

Curious about spells and CAs with Brawlers, are they stunning? I enjoyed the Assassin and the Bezerker for soloing but their spells and CAs left me wanting more visually. That is why I like the wizard so far. Good damage; great spells and CA graphics but up close and personal, they tend to get beat easily but that is a minor thing.

I like the necromancer and warlock cast effects, the way the mobs get covered in spores and start coughing, I also like the wizard frost animations.Ratonga Monk when viewed from the front during combat always makes me giggle, and when I briefly had a froglok beserker, the 2h weapon attack animations had the same effect For the appearance, I havent seen too many sets yet, but I do like the swashbuckler level 20 AQ set, almost got the last piece, just got to wait to be able to take down the giant, might give it another go today.

I actually like the illusionist spell eye candy. Lots of prismatic colors and pretty lights. As far as armor sets go, I like the brawlers (gi and hat) or predators (for the hood).

As for combat visuals I'll let Silverwing family answer that question Scroll down to the Video of "Poetry in Motion" Although she does not use the Dragonbreath attack.

Bruiser combat animations arent unique at all, in fact EVERY other class aside from monks can simply remove their weapons and they will look the same as a bruiser while punching things.

Granted they arent meant to be as flashy, but just about anything would look better than the obviously untrained/clumsy moves they do now. Monks are swift and graceful in their movements, Bruisers should be intimidating and brutal.

Aren't Bruisers meant to be rough along the edges? Whereas monks train and try to enlighten themselves with new techniques they learned through rigorous study and meditation, Bruisers are more of a fisticuffs class who just fight because they can get in a fight. They feel inherently violent. Even their class logo punches the crap out of the yin-yang symbol!

I think it would be hilarious to have a broken bottle (I know there's a regular bottle in TD you can get) or a piece of a table leg for a Bruiser weapon (maybe a whole wooden chair for 2H? gettin a bit silly here!) because it just feels like their style.

I play a Bruiser sometimes, and she's just a blast to play with. I like how she flips out like a ninja.

Speaking of eye-candy it would be really fun if Bruisers/Monks flipped when they jumped (randomly, to mix things up a bit.) Maybe make their taunts with their arm out, hand beckoning to bring it on. I'm thinking Bruce Lee.

EACH class should have a different animation that only they do.
