I have read the various posts on AA and I have a question. Currently I have STR done thru Traumatic swipe and next I am planning on doing the AGI tree. My question is are their items in the swashie tree worthwhile? I was thinking like playful swipe as a possibilty. Also how is the INT branch on the Rogue tree?Regarding weapons, I am currently duel-wielding piercing weapons and I am wondering Do I worry more about Damage or the attack speed of the weapon?

fill the rogue tree before the swash tree. str for melee crits, then sail wind, then potency line, then reach. might want to get walk the plank early so you could solo more effectively and figure out some good combos. Int line is more useful for brigs than for swashbucklers, and the FD is just a toy. Boot dagger is pretty cool though if you have enough points leftover.as for weapons, the bigger the damage spread the bigger the crits.hope this helps.

for your run of the mill Dps solo lvling swash go for Agility first 8/8 in Avaste Ye or Pirate stab w/e its called, 6 in either +agi or Run speed+ and 4 in the other 2, then get the final atk. Then if you plan on tanking Go Sta like I did later on... It is really nice to beable to avertize as a tank and or Dps for the low to higher end levels, and believe it or not but swash tank awesome, through heroics and such with ease. But for your average swash go Str next never did that personally so not sure how many points to put where. Agi/Int build is also nice for grouping, great way to keep your threat down... although the skill that reduces your threat level by 1 is nearly useless unless your only auto atking with slow weapons.. since you regain aggro soon as you do another atk.

Fiegn Death you get at the End of Int Tree is godly.. All I can say.

Note if you go Sta line you still want to duel weild for soloing since you should beable to pretty much kill mobs without them hitting you.

For weapon selection, crits only become a major factor once you get some specialized equipment that boosts crit rate and raid buffs that help it out. Prior to that, damage rating is far more important.
