<p>I boot up and play normally, but about every 15 or 20 minutes i get a fatal error message. </p><p><verify>E:liveeq2frameworkcoredevicessrcdirectx9 render device.cpp(2254): directx error: (d3derr_not available)</p><p> Im runnin a sony vaio with a geforce 8500 gt graphics card. any advice or help would be much appreciated.</p>

just a quick note to say i had the very same problem and in the end, i copied the file back into the same folder and renamed it flash.ocx so now i have two files flash9.ocx and flash.ocx but same files different names ?? but now i have same error different code* IE (2443) (D3D_NOTAVAILABLE) instead anybody with any advice be much appreiciated rixter6

I had the same error as the OP.... that and also an _outofmemory error.We tried everything that we could find on the internet.... we ended up with a last ditch effort of wiping the system and re-installing Windows (and DirectX) from scratch... I havent had one of those errors again since *knocks on wood*It may not work for you.... but it is the only thing that worked for me <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
