Allow me to start with the declaration that EQ2 runs like a dream on Vista64. I hit 50-60 FPS on nearly maxxed settings. That is a good thing. The bad thing is that I cannot run the game in windowed mode. The game becomes colorless/becomes a bunch of colored squares/errors out or tries to lock Vista up.Also I have seen an issue while crafting (full screen of course) where the particle effects on the crafting station became a jumbled mass of geometric mess and before I could re-launch the game the system locked up with sound looping.(I have performed memory tests, all went fine, MEMTEST86 from a clean cd boot)I do not have any of those problem running on VISTA32 running on the same system. I use hot swap hard drive bay so I can go back and forth between OSes in a matter of minutes. I have played on VISTA32 for 2 days and have not had a single problem but I loose about 10 FPS most of the time presumably due to 2.8 Gig of RAM that Vista32 sees vs 4 GIG that 64 sees, and uses. All of my drivers, OS updates are up to date, including the motherboard flash to latest firmware. Here is my hardware:INTEL Quad Core Q6600 CPUEVGA NFORCE 780i MB1X PNY NVIDIA 9800GTX Video Card4 GIG Dual Channel OCZ RAMOn board Sound (REALTEK)650 WATT ANTEC Power Supply2X SATA WD RAPTORs HDs in RAID 0 configuration (Application drive)1X SATA Raptor (OS drive)1X WD Caviar (DATA Drive)Any advice from anyone who may have had this problem? I would really like to run in 64 since it really makes the system scream.Thank you.
