There seems to be a load of different issues relating to this graphic card. Requesting to go with an ATI card isnt really a solution.I personally crash every second time I zone, my partner who recently swapped from an ATI card to a 8800 GTS (as they are better) now can no longer play the game due to random blue screens and crashes. We have tested with other games and there are no issues. Including WoW, so it is obviously EQ2 related.Could you please advise when your team is looking at a fix for this, as I have rolled back my drivers as requested by your techs (I now only crash one in three times!), but ignoring issues with one of the now best selling graphic cards is not really fair to your paying customers.Cheers <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I have issues with my Asus Geforce 8800GTS 640mb also, but not in the way of crashes.. My game just runs with crap performance.. <10fps in raids with extreme performance setting..also not much difference in performance between extreme performance and extreme quality LOL.../ Ilaean

I'll need more information.  I take a lot of calls and work on quite a few tickets a day.  Some 8800 users play great, some have issues.  So far I have not been able to see a trend between those that are having problems and those that are not.  I will try and glean some more information from our compatibility lab team and see what I can find.

I have this problem too. Playing on Core 2 Duo E6300@2,8GHz, 8800 GTS 640MB (G80), 4GB RAM, Vista 64 SP1, XP Pro SP3. I've always had this problem with my 8800 GTS. The game runs much too slow...When playing in group or solo I have to use balanced setting and I'm getting about 15 - 20 FPS if I'm lucky. When raiding I have to use max performance setting to get 15FPS.I'm having this issue since I bought this card 1.5 years ago and have testet differen OS, different drivers, settings, patches, service packs and so on...NONE of it made any difference. There's something about this graphics card that eq2 doesn't like.

I am having similiar performance issues as well. The ram has been upgraded and I have a Duo core 2.16ghz, a 8800 GT card, 3 Gigs of RAM and Vista SP1. I just ordered another gig of ram so I can have 4 gigs, but EQ2 is not a new game and my PC shouldnt be stuttering on the graphics so often while in major towns. I'm using balanced graphic settings. WoW runs without one stutter. I'm using a cable modem for my internet connection.
