I lost my poisons that were up when I respeced. I understand loosing other self buffs, but loosing your poisons that cost me about 10 g to reapply is [Removed for Content]. Please fix this.

I see why that can be frustrating but really Poisin is a self buff and there are MANY aa's that affect it. If it didnt then it wouldn't update. I would call this an unfortunates feature, but not really something that needs fixing.

There are no aa's that affect poisons for brigands...for instance...other then stats

And AA's that affect stuff like poisons should be applied after the item is used. Otherwise if you put another point of aa into the poison tree like predators can...you would need to reapply the poison to get its effect. That's pretty stupid.

It just increases the duration after the proc...and if you have these aa's as a brigand you need to reexamine your head.

Resetting your AAs also drops your food and drink.

In other words, it drops ALL buffs, including poision, food, drink, shrink, illusionary forms, and I think it even drops mounts.

If your poisons are costing you 10 gold to reapply, you need to look at getting your poisons somewhere else.Rough cost for Smoldering Dust - 20 gold (Off the broker)Cost for fuel - 2 goldCost for raws - copper. That makes 10 poisons. So per unit your looking at around 2 gold. You can run what, three different poisons? That should cost you around 6 gold max.6 gold isn't much these days.

I reset my AA's right before a raid lastnight and only the spells/buffs and poisons disappeared. Both of my food and drink were still active.

Please fix this.

Are you using MC poisons in non raid situations? If so this is a giant waste of money with the possible exception of vitality breach or stun poison. If not then either you were respecing for a raid in which case you would be killing your HC poisons and switching to MC poisons anyway, or respecing from a raid to a solo spec? In which case you would likely be dropping caustic/ignorant bliss to vitality breach/stun poison; I don't see a big deal here. It very clearly warns you that all maintained effects will drop and gives you a dialog box to verify your decision. Oh and as others have said, find a new source for your poison supply or level up an alchemist, they are pretty easy to level.

Iago

Fatuus wrote:
It just increases the duration after the proc...and if you have these aa's as a brigand you need to reexamine your head.

You are so very wrong about the Brigand AA's it's very sad that you play one since you clearly don't understand how those AAs work. There are 2 AAs the enhance poisons for brigands, and they don't enhance duration at all, Tenure does that. The AAs that enhance the poisons are Defensive Poisons and Vitality Poisons. Defensive when maxxed out increases the agil, wis, def and resists by 15% (3% per level) and the Vitality Poisons increase the damage and healing of vitality breach poisons by 25% at max (5% per level). I have them speced in my soloing spec because it's a nice damage bump on the vit breach and there was nowhere else worth spending points on since I don't really use Hideaway, Baffle or AR when soloing.

Hence, as there are AA options to increase the performance of some poisons, you have to drop poisons when you respec. There is nothing to fix because it is working as intended. Get used to it.
