Is this a bug with Anguish Line? - Confirmed bug to be fixed in GU47

<p>Since I am level 45 I'll use the spell names from this level range.</p><p> I have been casting Tyranical Mind on myself and following up with the DOT Anguish and DD muddled thinking then  Muddled Thinking again.   Tyranical mind should have proced a total of three times, however it does not.   Since I use profit with the remaining procs displayed I was able to see that the the DOT Anguish is causing two ticks to be counted but only procing damage for 1, as seen in ACT and from the numbers coming off the mob.</p><p>Has anyone else seen this either at this level or with the higher/Lower level versions.</p>

The reason that the DoT procs 2 hits is because it first hits as a DD and the first tick of the DoT at the same time.

<p>I don't believe that to be the case, a DOT does not resolve the initial hit then the first tick straight away it waits for the timer.  So if Anguish hits at n seconds this is when the tryrannical mind procs.   The next tick is at n+6 this does not proc Tryannical Mind since it is not a successful spell attack.</p><p>I just retested, Anguish is  using two ticks and proccing 1 damage.   This does not occur with the encounter DOT Discomforting Gaze.</p>

Um... TM should only proc when a damaging spell LANDS, not per tick. Now are you saying you cast it twice and it didn't proc the second time because the spell was still active? Or because it didn't proc off of the following tick? Because if it's the second one, then there is no bug. That's the way the spell functions, however if it is the first one, yes that is a bug.

^^ I have tryed this and Im seeing the same thing as well Anguish is using up 2 procs on Tyranical mind and only doing 1 tick of damage.

eeeewwww.... so it's using 2 but only one is doing damage... that's horrible and needs to be changed. I didn't even notice. Thank you for pointing this out. Now everyone go and /bug it 10 million times so they fix it.... maybe =p

<p>Spell attacks are spell that damage the mob either by hp dmg or by power dmg.Anguish does both at once that's why it triggers 2 times</p>

After numerous test, YES this is a bug that ALWAYS happens. The Anguish line of spells (doesn't matter the level) is causing 2 triggers of the "Mind" lines to trigger, but only doing damage for 1 of the 2 triggers. <p>Aye, it's an easily repestable bug, I've actually changed up my spell cycles do to this bug. It needs to be changed, and quickly.</p><p>You also might want to change the title to something like "KNOWN BUG WITH ANGUISH LINE - NEEDS FIX ASAP!" hehe.</p>
