i keep telling myself its gonna be fun. i do this to get over the frustration of doing nothing but dying. Perhaps it is because i have yet to see a qeynosian that does not con yellow or higher. from level 10 to 21 (my current level) every pvper that came at me was thus, yellow or higher, or grouped.

So my chances of winning? I dunno am i doing something wrong. the fight usually consists of me missing 60% of my hits and them landing everyone.

I know what your gonna say get master crafted, get ad3's etc etc. Easier said than done for toons with high level alts to give them coin. Been working my way up from nothing thus far, have 5 MC armor peices, no ad3's cause i cant afford them. I made myself an armorsmith, and made an alt weaponsmmith. not going to make yet a 3rd alt just to have a fighting chance against nothing but players who gank from the max level range. At level 21 i have a whopping 21 gold to my name, so buying totems at almost 2 gold a peice just to see the [I cannot control my vocabulary] is not feasable either.

So what are my options? I keep saying "its gonna get better". Does it? or can i look forward to 60 more levels of max level ganking?

My pvp characters name is evelynne, on venekor.

Edit:Im currently working towards battle cleric line. i have 19 aa thus far and have done every quest i can in TD and Darklight. My crushing skil and defense are max for their levels, but it seems to make no difference, as previously stated almost every fight after looking at act my to hit is less than 40% and theirs is always 100%

I fear having to go to nek/TS now to harvest just for peices i need for armor and weapons for the next teir. im getting spanked enough as it is with peeps 4 levels up on me.

Basicly inqs is not very well suited for low leveles(no way 2 kill pll that doesn`t wanna fight )...maybe besids plate armor with BC line ..(that 10% for arrmor)..wchcih will give U nice edge fighting even orange scout..Ofcourse don`t respond at 1-st just run(plate armor schould save your live long enough for snare/root efects wear off) and wait till your HP regen gives U nice couple ticks then scout schould be at 50% of power after that turn around and finish him off..easy,work for noob scouts every time ..

After 21 AA placed in Battle Clerick line go for STA line ..that 100% crit in meele will give U awsome DPS boost ..after that U schould be ok

/ps MC plate armor will be biggest improvment for U..it`s worth every copper

Here's the deal.the inquisitor have a few things it needs to stand any chance at all in pvp.

Good armor. MC or better. Jewelry isnt quite as important.

Good heals. Ad3 or better.

35+ aas.

If you lack any one of these, you will find yourself face down in the dirt more often than not.Once you get these three (in t3, for higher tiers, more aas is better, but still not quite as noticable as those 35+) you will be able to steamroll pretty much any class. Actually, you will probably stand a fair chance of taking on duos. And as you level up, if you keep yourelf in a good shape, you will keep being able to kill duos. perhaps even trios of people that are in lesser gear than you, or just plain suck. But you have to be good for that. The inquisitor will get better, but its a high maintenance class to play in pvp.So, what server are you on?

I play on venekor. My inquisitor is an armorsmith, so i can make my own armor. I also made a woodworker for totems and the bo staff (which i like in its current revamped form) however the only issue i have is the ridiculous prices for the advanced crafting books. Some are upwards of over a plat, which is just not feasable at all for new players on a server to spend for ONE book....

But ill carry on, been mostly crafting lately to get my crafters of level to make items i can actually use beofre I ding level 22. Also i hate steel clusters. I have sasily gotten 2-3 times as many rares in other forms, other than steel clusters..

Battle Cleric (final Battle line skill) is your crucial first goal for Inquisitor PvP; that + to crushing skill makes a huge difference. After that, as suggested above, go for 100% crit and then Steadfast. It really does get easier. Shortly you are going to begin accessing the various 'punishments', and these can tear folks (scouts especially) to pieces. As Norrsken says though, it's a class that wants good gear and spells to succeed in PvP. I'd add that a planned, 'chess-like' approach to fights is important -- try hard not to let that ganking scout get you flustered, try to keep a level head and know that even though you're now at 40% after an opener, your single target reactive is your best friend. As it ticks you back up, set up your debuff, later punishments, throw in some CAs and cycle your reactive. Eventually there's a root/mez, fear... lots of goodies on the horizon =)And I'll second Norrsken: pity you're not on Nagafen. I'd happily help out with some starting coin and such. Regardless, have fun and don't give up! And if you decide to relocate to Nagafen, let us know =)

Lovely to be able to take breaks when you feel you need one.

Took time and ALOT of harvesting, plus some help from fellow venekors with the costs of some of the books i got myself a fir bo staff which i also like.

Its a different ball game now. Over the weekend i won my first victory over a ranger trying to gank me. was a nice change of pace.

Said ranger ran very fast.
