Prerender fps boost

So i forced prerendering in my nvidia control panel to 1, instead of the default being 3, and my overall fps in EQ2 skyrocketed!! I have an 8800gts 512, <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> and 6gbs ram. Im using driver set 175.16...does this happen to anyone else??
