Window settings won't save.

<p>I am unable to save the settings for my in game windows. The problem varies between characters. On one of my main characters the window settings won't save at all. My quest offerred and quest reward windows are always invisible until I mouse over them. I right click and reset the opacities to maximum but when the next quest is offerred the opacity is back to transparent. On my other main char it will save but only for the current session; as soon as I relog everything is transparent again. It isn't only quest windows, even some of my bank bag windows are transparent.</p><p>I've been playing on this system every few months for almost 18 months. It was fine back in January when I played on it, but as soon as I started playing on it again a couple of weeks ago I had problems. Also I'm getting a lot of lag.</p><p>I've searched this forum but only found posts about keyboard settings not saving. Fortunately my keyboard settings are fine, it's only my windows that aren't saving. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix for it?</p><p>My system is an Athlon 64 x 2 3800 with 2 gb Ram, Windows XP pro, Geforce 7300GT with 256mb ram.</p>

Are you able to save the configuration in options yet?If not, try deleting all of the following files.cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniLets see how this works.
