I think I may have posted this wrongly before, so here it is:Hello all,I just recently upgraded from XP sp2 to Vista Ultimate sp1 on my machine, and seem to be having some issues with EQ2.When I play on a fresh boot of Vista, no problems. But like pretty much everyone, I have to close the game at some point. When I relaunch the game, I get to the splash page, and I start getting video corruption all over the place. I had never seen this in XP. When the game finally loads to the gameplay window, that seems somewhat fine, but any in game window (ie bags, tracking, options, etc) all have some form of video corruption on them.My system is as follows:P4 D series (3.0ghz running at 3.15ghz), 4gb RAM (DDR2), Nvidia 7800GT (PCI Express), and lots of HD space.I have done little to no tweaking of the Vista interface as of yet, so I am open to those suggestions as well. What I have done so far:Reinstalled EQ2, but am open to doing it again if needed.Reinstalled my video driver. Please no "just reinstall XP" messages. Yes, it is an option that I am entertaining, but I want to exhaust all possibilities with Vista first. I did pay for it, after all, I want to be able to use it.I am even playing with the idea of reinstalling vista once more, in case something went wrong there.Thank you in advance.

Driver related > *video.

When the video corruption is generalised it can't be anything else.

I have to agree, what drivers are you using?

I was using the most recent official NVidia release. I have since tried the ones from the beta section (dated May 13th), again from the NVidia site.A little more info that I have found out this weekend. The problem seems to only occur when in full screen mode. If I have the problem and switch to windowed, the problem is no more.I had it mentioned to me the possibility of it being a directx 10 issue, seeing as my card (7800GT) doesn't officially support it (or so I've heard).Need any more info, just ask. I'll get whatever's needed.

Try installing DirectX 9.0c and see if that resolves anything. I have seen a couple of windowed vs full screen issues popping up, inc including PS/2 keyboards not working properly.I am working with a couple of tier 2 reps on gathering more info into this issue.

Ok, tried installing the directx from the link provided, and the corruption remains. I also tried to take a screenshot to post, but the screenshot came out clean, go figure.
